Montréal Lends a Listening Ear to its Youth

The municipal administration is deploying the tools at its disposal and taking concrete steps to make the Montréal an inclusive city that cares about its youth. In partnership with institutional, community and municipal stakeholders, the municipal administration is intent on offering youth aged 18 to 30 a better quality of life.

The municipal administration is in the process of developing its Montréal Action Plan for Youth 2018-2020. After consultations with youth through its 2017 #jeunesse375MTL project and Youth Summit, as well as working meetings with community partners and the city’s central departments, boroughs and advisory boards, the municipal administration wanted to know, trough a survey, what you think about the actions it plans to undertake so that it can add to the comments received to date and finalize its Action Plan.

An online survey took place from May 25 to June 25, 2018. The municipal administrationl in compiling and analysing the results that will enable it to finalize the Montréal Action Plan for Youth 2018-2020. The Ville de Montréal thanks all the citizens who took the time to participate in the survey as well as the community organisations that mobilized the youth aroud this consultation.

Survey

The municipal administration is currently in consultations on its Montréal Action Plan for Youth 2018-2020. This survey is intended for people who live or work within Montréal city limits.

After carrying out a far-reaching consultation with youth through the #jeunesse375MTL project culminating in the Youth Summit presented in May 2017, the city held working meetings and discussions with central departments, paramunicipal organizations, boroughs, municipal advisory boards as well as organizations representing youth. The process of developing the plan is ongoing, as we set about soliciting your opinions concerning the actions proposed for youth aged 18 to 30.
