Work operations set to resume on February 11, 2019
The municipal administration wishes to inform you that work operations as part of the Sainte-Catherine Ouest project will resume on Monday, February 11, 2019. Phase 1 of the projet will consist of reconstruction work on underground infrastructures beneath Rue Sainte-Catherine Ouest, between Boulevard Robert-Bourassa and Rue De Bleury.
Lot 1 west - Start: February 11, 2019 - End: fall 2019

Lot 1 east - Start: February 11, 2019 - End: summer 2019

Monday to Saturday, inclusively
Two consecutive work shifts, totalling 18 hrs./day
Possibility of 24 hrs./24 hrs.
Possibility of Sundays and public holidays
Nature of the work
Replacement, rehabilitation and addition of underground sewer infrastructures: sewers, water systems and urban public utilities. Impacts and mitigation measures
Access: Access to homes, buildings and stores will be maintained at all times. Development of pedestrian corridors and safe walkways for pedestrian traffic. Information and commercial access signage will be installed on site to faclitate pedestrian traffic.
Traffic: Be attentive to the signage and the change in the direction of traffic on certain streets (see the hatched arrows on the diagram below):
Parking: No parking in the work zone and parking restrictions in the vicinity of the work site. Follow the dynamic parking guidance system in the sector (electronic parking signs).
Buses: Service maintained, with possible changes to schedules and routes. STM-INFO (514 786-4636) or stm.info.
Waste and recycling collections: service maintained
Snow removal on sidewalks and roads: service maintained
In the days to come, the contractor is expected to prepare the work site for the installation of work signage.
