Final consultation report release

On Monday, August 20, 2018, during city council, the final consultation report on the Plan d'action du sport et du plein air urbains prepared by the Commission sur la culture, le patrimoine et les sports was officially released.

The findings of the report, including the standing committee's 33 recommendations, will now be analyzed by the executive committee in order to finalize the Plan d'action.

Adoption of the Programme des installations sportives extérieures 2019-2029

On March 13, 2019, Montréal executive committee adopted the Programme des installations sportives extérieures (PISE) 2019-2029. As for the upcoming action plan, the PISE stems from the Plan directeur du sport et du plein air urbains.

With a budget of $29.5 million, this program supports boroughs in developing and improving their outdoor sports facilities. For more information, visit Montréal’s Sports and physical activities website.
