The borough of LaSalle is launching its third participatory budget. In 2024, an amount of $200,000 will be dedicated to projects submitted by and for the residents of LaSalle! Of this budget allocation, $50,000 comes from the Comité de transition écologique de LaSalle (CTÉL) and will be used to fund one or more projects related to this theme.

  • To directly influence the Borough's decisions and actions

How to take part?

  • Until March 1, 2024, by submitting your project ideas
  • In May 2024, by developing the ideas into projects at a workshop
  • In October 2024, by voting for the projects to be carried out

  • REGISTER FOR THE WORKSHOPS

    The collection of ideas ended on March1. We wish to thank all the LaSalle residents who took part in such large numbers. During this phase, 145 ideas were collected through workshops as well as online and on paper forms. Each idea was examined by the municipal teams to assess its admissibility.

    You are invited to register for the next stages. 

    Please note that your participation in both workshops is recommended. 

    1. Idea prioritization workshop

    Tuesday, May 21, 2024, 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

    Workshop objectives: 

    • To be informed of the eligible ideas
    • To identify the strengths and limitations of the ideas 
    • To select the ideas that will be developed into projects

    2. Project development workshop

    Tuesday, May 28, 2024, 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

    Workshop objectives:

    • To develop into projects the ideas selected at the May 21, 2024 workshop
    • To request applications for the role of delegate (spokespersons who will take part in improving the projects)

    Location 

    Both workshops will be held at the L'Octogone library, 1080 avenue Dollard.

    Information on the language of discussion 

    The presentations will be in French. Some statements will be translated into English as needed.
