The collection of ideas ended on March 15. We received close to one hundred proposals. We wish to thank the LaSalle residents who participated in such large numbers. Given the present situation, we are delighted to see that residents' participation has not been slowed down and that they are still involved, even virtually.

Under the theme "A living environment that reflects your aspirations", the participatory budget process aims to:

Introduce residents to municipal democratic life
Involve them in improving their living environment, by calling on their expertise and creativity
Promote social unity and a sense of belonging to the community

Next steps

Until April 15, 2021: Preliminary sorting, analysis of the admissibility of the ideas submitted and improvement of the projects
April 15 - May 31, 2021: Analysis of the technical, regulatory and financial feasibility of the projects
June 2021: Announcement of the projects submitted for approval by a vote (Borough Council meeting on June 7) and voting period
July 12, 2021: Borough Council resolution publicly announcing the projects to be carried out
2021-2023: Implementation of the projects by the Borough and follow-up on their completion will take place over a two-year period
