Action Plan for Universal Accessibility 2019-2020

Making Montréal more accessible

The City of Montréal is currently finalizing its next Action plan for universal accessibility 2019-2020. The final version should be unveiled in March 2019 and put online on this platform.

In October and November 2018, the draft Action Plan was the subject of a public consultation. To reach citizens from all over Montreal, six accessible consultation sessions were offered in the boroughs of Saint-Laurent, Saint-Leonard, Verdun, Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension and Ville-Marie, as well as House of the Deaf of Montreal. Two of these sessions were webcasts. It was also possible for the public to participate in an online survey and to send briefs by e-mail.

The City of Montreal would like to thank all the participants. Your comments will be very useful in the finalization of this Municipal Action Plan which aims to make Montreal accessible to all!
