Universal Accessibility 2019-2020

Making Montréal more accessible

The Action Plan for Social Development 2019-2020 titled Rassembler Montréal was unveiled in September 2019. In this plan figure the major actions for universal accessibility.

The other municipal actions in universal accessibility are the subject of a separate document titled Municipal Interventions for Universal Accessibility 2019-2020. This document is the result of a public consultation and consultation process between the various corporate departments and boroughs of the City of Montreal.

To reach citizens from all over Montreal, six accessible consultation sessions were offered in the boroughs of Saint-Laurent, Saint-Leonard, Verdun, Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension and Ville-Marie, as well as House of the Deaf of Montreal. Two of these sessions were webcasts. It was also possible for the public to participate in an online survey and to send briefs by e-mail.
